When Dr. Amy is not serving her patients or speaking in the community, she is outdoors hiking, running, kayaking or biking with her husband, Dr. Ryan. She enjoys a challenging workout just as much as she enjoys a relaxing day in the sunshine. Dr. Amy loves to cook and can be easily persuaded with a plate of freshly baked black bean brownies! She has a heart to serve and is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing community here in the Willamette Valley. Dr. Amy is whole-heartedly committed to radically improving the health of her community so that the families of Salem can live life to their full potential without fear or limitation.
Dr. Ryan Schulz, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Ryan Schulz has always had a love for chiropractic. Since his father is a chiropractor, he has been adjusted regularly since he was 11 days old. Growing up, he noticed a vast difference between his family’s health and that of his friends and their families. This observation eventually led him to become a chiropractor.
Dr. Ryan was born and raised on a farm in a small town called Reardan, located in Eastern Washington. Through his involvement with 4-H and FFA, he developed a love for educating and public speaking. After attending college on a basketball scholarship, Dr. Ryan received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA.
After graduation, Dr. Ryan and his wife, Dr. Amy, packed up life in California and moved to Naples, Florida where they completed an intensive yearlong training program with Maximized Living Health Centers.
Dr. Ryan’s goal for the Willamette Valley is to empower every man and woman to take control of their health by giving them tools to make sound health decisions based on knowledge and understanding. Dr. Ryan’s goal for Cherry City Chiropractic is to create a culture of health and a community of informed people that support each other to thrive and be their very best!
When he is not in the office, Dr. Ryan enjoys playing many different types of sports. He enjoys going out into the Cascade mountain range and breathing the fresh mountain air. Dr. Ryan is a big fan of games, enjoys a good competition, and plays a mean game of Monopoly. The way to his heart is with a plate of healthy cookies and a glass of unsweetened almond milk. Dr. Ryan looks forward to getting to know his community and serving any way he can!
